Teve Rock
A Laid-Back Adventure to Teve Rock – Where New Faces Met Old Trails
This weekend, we took a trip to one of the most iconic spots in Pilisborosjenő—Teve Rock (Camel Rock). 🏜️ The route? Chill. The company? A mix of familiar faces and a ton of new ones. And the vibe? Peak weekend energy.
A Hike for Everyone
Unlike some of our more intense climbs, this was one of those routes where you could actually catch your breath while chatting. A mix of open fields, pine forests, and gentle inclines made it perfect for first-timers while still rewarding enough for our regulars. The trail meandered through scenic landscapes before leading us to the famous Teve Rock, a unique rock formation that looks (if you squint) like a camel. 🐪
Views, Vibes & A Sunset to Remember
Standing on the ridge, we got a panoramic view of the Pilis hills, with golden-hour light hitting just right. 📸 The relaxed pace meant more time for jokes, snack breaks, and, of course, the classic NTHC group photo at the summit.
More Than Just a Hike
Beyond the trails and views, this trip was about the people. It was amazing to see so many new faces joining us, quickly blending into the easygoing, welcoming atmosphere. By the end of the hike, names were remembered, inside jokes were made, and plans for the next trip were already being discussed.
If you missed this one—don’t worry. There’s always another adventure just around the corner. Why not be part of the next one? 😉
